Surakarta , also called
solo or sala is a city located in central java . located between 3 mountains :
merapi , merbabu and lawu . east side of town is bypassed the famous river
namely “Bengawan Solo” . there are two palaces in Solo namely Surakarta and
Praja Mangkunegaran .
Solo is the beautiful
city . Solo has many tourism boards ,such as tawangmangu , kemuning , Borobudur temple etc . this town
also has famous traditional foods such as nasi liwet , nasi timlo , srabi etc .
Solo also famous as a comfortable , clean , and tidy it because solo has the
motto “solo berseri”
Solo as the batik
center . solo has many distinctive shades like sidomukti and sidoluruh . batik
trade center of this town is klewer market , BTC and PGS . every years solo
held Solo Batik Carnival as batik management and conservation efforts.the
government of solo also operates a bus patterned
batik that is Batik Trans Solo .
